Customer Service Hell: A Warning to All Shoppers 🚨
I'm writing this as a warning about my terrible online shopping experience. After encountering a serious issue with my glasses, I found out the hard way why you should shop elsewhere. This is a terrible company to purchase from if you have any issues with your glasses. They will gladly take your money but when it's time for them to fix the issue it seems impossible. The business is pretty much fully automated, and when I finally managed to get a hold of someone, the entire exchange felt like a scam. This awful feeling of having no way to get help is what compelled me to try and resolve it through their customer service and, ultimately, to write this review.
Customer: I've been trying to get help for days. My glasses arrived with a defect and your automated system is useless.
CS Rep: I apologize for the inconvenience. Please provide your order number and I will look into the matter for you.
Customer: It’s [Order Number]. I don't want a runaround, I want the glasses replaced. This is unacceptable quality.
CS Rep: Sir, per our policy, you will need to return the item for inspection. We cannot send a replacement until that process is complete.
Customer: This is ridiculous. Your company sent a faulty product! I want to speak to a manager or someone who can actually help me file a complaint.
CS Rep: I am the only one you can speak with. If there is nothing else I can assist you with, I will have to end this call.
The reason I left this review on the website is to hopefully prevent others from falling into the same trap.
